Comments from Edward Cohen's Family

We were fortunate enough to have several members of Edward Cohen's family attend the plaque unveiling ceremony. Below is the letter submitted by Polly Greenberger, Edward Cohen's granddaughter, after the ceremony:

Just wanted to thank you for everything you did to honor my grandfather, Edward Cohen.  Actually, I was a little blown away by the laudatory speeches about him; seeing where he was actually assassinated was an experience not soon to be forgotten.  The event also served to unite Harry, Janis and me with our cousin Phyllis after too many years.

My husband Hubert and I thought the ceremony moving and the reception fantastic.  Thanks to you and to all of the great people of Massachusetts AFL-CIO and the legislators who were responsible for sponsoring and executing such an impressive event.

With sincere appreciation,

Polly (nee Greenberger) and Hubert Vicars
