The Massachusetts AFL-CIO promotes a vision of economic development that raises the living standards of average working people and improves the quality of their communities.

•  Working with coalitions around the state, we seek to ensure that public subsidies or tax breaks given out are tied to wage standards or job quality standards.
• Our efforts support public policies that promote the creation of living wage jobs with benefits.
