Economic Development

The
Massachusetts AFL-CIO promotes a vision of economic development that
raises the living standards of average working people and improves the
quality of their communities.

Working with coalitions around the state, we seek to ensure that public subsidies or tax breaksgiven out are tied to wage standards or job quality standards.

Our efforts support public policy that promotes the creation of living wage jobs with benefits.
