WHEN: Wednesday, September 23, 2009 through Friday, September 25, 2009

• The Convention will begin at approximately 9:00 AM on Thursday the 24th and conclude at 12:00 PM on Friday the 25th
• The Executive Council will meet on Wednesday the 23rd at 4:00 PM

WHERE: Newton Marriott 2345 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton, Massachusetts REGISTRATION CHECKLIST FOR DELEGATES:

• Complete and return the Credential (white copy) to the Mass AFL-CIO office with a check payable to the Mass AFL-CIO for $120 per delegate enclosed, due back no later than August 26th. Be sure to include complete addresses for the delegates, union office address preferred.
• Complete the Registration Form (yellow copy) and return to the Mass AFL-CIO office no later than August 26th.
• Make your reservation with the Newton Marriott directly by calling (617) 969-1000. Specify that you are with the Mass AFL-CIO. Special room rates are $109.00 for a single and $109.00 for a double room. Reservations must be made by August 26th for the special rate to apply, reservations made after this date will be accepted based on availability.
• If you plan on attending the Convention as an ALTERNATE, you must bring a letter with you from your President/Principal Officer stating their approval for you to attend the Convention. The alternate will not be allowed in without this letter.
