The Mass. AFL-CIO made the following endorsements for the Special General Elections that were held on Tuesday March 4, and is proud to say that the endorsed candidates won each race by considerable margins.

• In the 32^nd Middlesex District, which covers Melrose and parts of Wakefield, left vacant by Michael Festa, the Massachusetts AFL-CIO endorsed Katherine Clark for State Representative.

• In the 8^th Essex District, which includes Marblehead, Swampscott and parts of Lynn , left vacant by Doug Peterson, the Massachusetts AFL-CIO endorsed Lori Ehrlich for State Representative.

• In the 7^th Bristol District, which includes most of Fall River, left vacant by Robert Corriea, the Massachusetts AFL-CIO endorsed Kevin Aguiar for State Representative.

The Massachusetts AFL-CIO congratulates these newly elected State Representatives, and thanks all union members who got involved with these campaigns.  Keep up the great work in the elections this fall.
