Massachusetts AFL-CIO Futures Building Momentum: Lucky #7 Events Announced
Massachusetts AFL-CIO Futures Building Momentum: Lucky #7 Events Announced The first year of the Futures Program is off to a strong start and the program continues to grow in size and momentum. The Massachusetts AFL-CIO organized a social gathering for its Futures delegates on Thursday, April 17. This event was a great success, with more than 25 delegates from different unions and sectors coming together to socialize and network. The Futures Program was created to cultivate more involvement in the Labor Movement among young people, and has so far seen tremendous interest among the delegates. There are three upcoming events taking place from May 7th to June 7th, which you and your younger union members are encouraged to attend.
Please make every effort to attend these events and send younger members as Futures delegates. For questions or details, please contact Political Director Bob Bower (bbower@massaflcio.org) or Political and Legislative Coordinator Chrissy Long (clong@massaflcio.org) or call (781) 324-8230. »
