Save Giovanni Bone Marrow Drive Comes to Malden
3/24: Save Giovanni Bone Marrow Drive at Irish American Club at 17 West Street, Malden, MA from 9am to 5pm.
Please spread the word far and wide about this important community service event. Giovanni is a seven-month old baby who has NEMO, a rare immune defect impacting a very few unfortunate children nationwide. Giovanni has found bone marrow that will potentially save his life, but 35% of children with NEMO will die because there are not enough bone marrow donors in the national registry. Few things we can do are as important as this event. Bring family and friends for a simple cotton swab procedure to determine if your bone marrow can save a child's life. Most health insurance plans pay for this procedure and if not, you will not be charged for participating. The Bone Marrow Drive will be held on Saturday March 24th from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Irish American Club located at 17 West Street, Malden, MA.
