UMass Labor Extension: Leadership Development

Massachusetts
is home to an excellent labor education system comprised of four labor
extension programs and four higher programs (a mixture of
certificate/B.A. and M.A. programs) located on the four UMass campuses
throughout the state.

Unions
can contact Labor Extension staff to design skillsbuilding programs
tailored to their members' needs; or, a union can send union members to
one of the many leadership programs offered through Labor Extension
throughout the year.

For
union members seeking to enroll in labor studies or find out about
Labor Extension programs, there are a number of routes one can take.

UMass Boston Labor Resource Center offers a certificate and B.A. in Labor Studies and Labor Exension services

UMass Amherst Labor Relations Research Center offers a M.A. program in Labor Studies and Labor Exension services

UMass Dartmouth offers a certificate program in Labor Studies and a B.A. with a minor in Labor Studies and Labor Exension services

UMass Lowell offers Labor Exension programs for unions
