City of Waltham Special City Council Meeting on Wage Theft Ordinance

Our Brothers and Sisters of Waltham have been working hard with Waltham residents to pass a new wage theft ordinance. The ordinance in question would require building projects with an estimated cost of construction that exceeds $500,000 to have a construction manager, general contractor or other lead or prime contractor who is in compliance with certain state wage and health insurance laws.

In solidarity with the working people of, Waltham we encourage our Waltham Brothers and Sisters to attend this citizen input hearing and make your voices heard! Wage violations are unfair, unjust, immoral and they have no place in the Commonwealth. Please spread the word and attend this crucial meeting.
