Support "An Act to Prevent Wage Theft & Promote Employer Accountability" at the State House

On June 20th the Joint Committee on Labor & Workforce Development will hold a hearing on "An Act to Prevent Wage Theft & Promote Employer Accountability." 

The bill, which passed the State Senate last year by a vote of 38-2, now has been cosponsored by a majority of legislators in the House of Representatives. This bipartisan bill with more than 130 co-sponsors would give the attorney general’s office greater authority to protect Massachusetts workers and taxpayers from wage theft.
