Aaron Dockser is an organizer dedicated to building a society where workers have the power. 5 years ago, starting as a non-union bartender, Aaron helped to form an organizing committee with his coworkers and fought for the right to be treated with respect and dignity as well as collectively bargain a contract. Through union organizing Aaron has fought for immigration rights, anti-racism clauses and workplace trainings, pay raises, staffing ratios, investment in the public good, parental and sick leave, affordable health care, restoration of lost wages, protections against unjust incarceration, job training programs, equitable hiring and promoting practices, pay equality, and scheduling stability. Aaron was raised in Reading, Massachusetts and spent his first years in the labor movement as a member of and organizing with UNITE HERE Local 274.
