Robert Bower

Robert’s over 30 year career in the labor movement began on the shop floor at Raytheon, where he was an active union member and eventually Vice President of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1505. Bob joined the Massachusetts AFL-CIO in 1998, serving as Rapid Response Coordinator, then rose to Political Director in 2004.

In his current role Bob continues to direct the workforce development programs. He is the Chair of the Metro Southwest Regional Employment Boards Young Adult Initiative Board. Bob earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Labor Studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
