On April 4th, we will be discussing ways to protect and expand the public good. We will also reflect upon the importance of the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination to public sector workers across the country.
Welcome by Lee Saunders, president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and first African American to serve as AFSCME’s president. Featured speakers include Senator Marc Pacheco, Jim Durkin, Director of Legislation, Communication & Political Action of AFSCME Council 93, and others.
